There are no two people who are the same. The same holds true for a genuine yoga practice.

Class duration

A regular private class is 60min long. It can also be shorter, or longer or even a workshop.

MATS & PROPS PROVIDED

Don’t have a mat? Not an issue, we bring everything needed for the class to you.

BOOK A PRIVATE CLASS

You can choose to take a one-on-one private lesson or gather your friends or family and turn it into a fun and energizing bonding activity. Whatever your choice may be, everything about the class will be tailored to give you the experience and knowledge you were looking for.

Firstly – you choose the location. You can do your yoga practice at the comfort of your holiday home, at our Dubrovnik studio or even somewhere in the deep shade of olive trees or at the beach. Moreover, if you bring your swimming suit, you can simply jump into the sea to refresh after the session.

Secondly, you decide the duration of the class and the time of the day. We won’t make you get up early in the morning if you would like to spend your nights out or you are simply grumpy before noon. Just let us know what time of the day works best for you.

Thirdly and most importantly, you set the pace. This class is all about you. Your Yoga Alliance 500 RYT accredited teacher will tailor the program to suit your interests, level of practice and long-term goals.

If you’re a complete beginner, you’ll get a wonderful introduction to yoga. You’ll be carefully eased into proper alignments that work best for your body and learn valuable breathing and meditation techniques. On the other hand, if you are a more seassoned yogi, this is a great way to dive deeper into your practice and place some attention into the areas you’d like to explore more. If you want to learn how to breathe and poses to support your love for running, cycling or any other activity, or you just want to recuperate from everyday life, we will design a yoga practice specifically for you.

Finally, you don’t need to carry any yoga equipment. Your yoga teacher will bring all the yoga props and mats you’ll need.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never set foot on a yoga mat or you practise yoga every day, our small group session or private class will be something you’ll remember your visit to Dubrovnik by.

MEET YOUR TEACHERS

The story of We DU Yoga started in 2010 when two sisters Dalia and Rhubin, who had separate carriers in arts and movie production, with absolutely no thoughts of becoming yoga teachers, ended up together on a teacher training in India.

Switch off, calm your mind and strengthen your body in an intimate space of our We DU Yoga studio in Dubrovnik. Studio classes range from dynamic vinyasa flow and ashtanga, over kundalini to hatha and yin. We teach our regular studio classes in Croatian. Don’t speak Croatian? Not an issue at all, we make sure each participant can follow along easily.

LEARN TO LIVE THE PRESENT MOMENT

Through mindfulness meditation we train our mind to be fully present, with warmth and kindness, both to ourselves and others. When we are being mindful, we are fully aware of the sensations, emotions and thoughts which we are experiencing. This is a skill we all naturally possess, but often needs to be awakened through practice.
